Fumigation is a bigger decision than most pest treatments, which is why All Over Pest Control walks you through prep, timing, and clearance requirements before you commit to a date. If a real estate deadline is driving the schedule, tell us early so we can coordinate the tenting date accordingly.
Fumigation requires certification well beyond standard pest control licensing, and our crew holds it along with full insurance coverage. Every fumigation job gets a dedicated coordinator, not a rotating point of contact. Every fumigation job gets a dedicated coordinator, not a rotating point of contact.
Tenting, gassing, aeration, and tent removal are all handled by our own crew, start to finish. Gas monitoring equipment is calibrated before each job, not assumed accurate from the last one.
We test clearance levels directly rather than estimating based on aeration time alone, so re-entry is confirmed safe. Crew scheduling across Dothan, AL accounts for weather conditions that can affect aeration timing.
We walk you through exactly what needs to be removed, bagged, or double-bagged before tenting day, including food and plants. Clearance documentation is issued the same day testing confirms safe re-entry levels. Clearance documentation is issued the same day testing confirms safe re-entry levels.
Fumigation isn't a single step — it's a coordinated process, and each part below is handled by our own licensed crew. One point of contact manages your fumigation from scheduling through clearance, so you're never chasing separate crews for updates.
Whole-structure sulfuryl fluoride fumigation reaches drywood termite galleries that localized spot treatment can't access throughout the building.
When an infestation has spread through wall voids and framing throughout the building, fumigation reaches what spot treatment can't.
Tent sealing quality directly affects treatment success, which is why our own crew handles installation rather than subcontracting it.
Required aeration time varies by structure size and conditions, and we monitor gas levels directly rather than guessing based on the clock.
A walk-through before scheduling identifies what needs bagging, removal, or special handling, including plants, food, and medications.
We provide clearance documentation after re-entry testing, useful for insurance claims or real estate closing requirements.

An inspector assesses the extent of infestation and structure size to confirm fumigation is the right approach versus localized treatment.
Expect a written prep list and firm pricing well before tenting day, so there are no surprises on cost or timeline.
We guarantee the process through clearance — the structure isn't released back to you until testing confirms it's safe.
"We resisted fumigation at first, but once they showed us how far the drywood termites had spread, it was clearly necessary."
"Prep checklist was detailed enough that tenting day actually went smoothly with no last-minute scrambling."
"Clearance testing gave us real confidence before moving back in, rather than just trusting a countdown timer."
"Insurance needed documentation and it was ready fast, right after the clearance testing confirmed the structure was safe."
"Our closing depended on that clearance certificate, and they worked directly with our agent to hit the deadline."
We only recommend fumigation when it's genuinely necessary; localized treatment is often enough for smaller drywood termite activity.
Typically a full day including tenting, gas exposure time, and required aeration, though it varies by structure size.
Food, medications, plants, and pets all need to be removed or specially bagged — we provide a detailed checklist in advance.
